Our goal in patient care is to provide life with dignity. To achieve this, we design a plan of care that is unique to your situation in order to provide the highest level of care and comfort.
Our hospice services include physical, occupational and speech therapy; counseling; medications, equipment and supplies; bathing and dressing; light housekeeping and meal preparation; and spiritual support, as well as social services for caregivers and extended family.
When a patient becomes a Dignity client, everyone in the family is a client. We offer emotional, spiritual and physical support for caregivers and extended family. Our social workers are trained to go “above and beyond” to help our families, and because we are focused on doing what’s right, no request is too small – or too great – if it’s the right thing to do.
Our relationship with you is for the long term. For at least 13 months following the loss of your loved one, we will be with you to offer bereavement support, including grief counseling and spiritual support.
When a doctor certifies a patient is terminally ill and has six months or less to live (if the illness runs its normal course), hospice provided by a Medicare-approved provider is covered by Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance).
For those who do not qualify for Medicare, Dignity Hospice accepts most insurance plans. We look at every situation individually and support you in making the right financial decisions related to your care, or that of a loved one.
