Hospice Volunteer Training
Volunteers make a difference! Will you?
Would you consider being someone’s angel? That is what a hospice volunteer is. Being a volunteer means you have the opportunity to journey with someone going through a difficult time. You can be a help and encouragement to a patient and their family by doing the little things to say, “You are not alone.” No one can encourage better than someone who has already journeyed that road. Come be trained!
The training begins at 7:00 p.m. and will conclude at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17th. All volunteers must be able to pass a background check. To register for the training, please contact Dr. Bill Lundy at (972) 997-5941.
